They may not have been all that odd, but they struck me that way.
At the courthouse, a homeless guy was sprawled out on the ground next to a light pole with an electrical outlet. Plugged into the outlet was a cord attached to a charger that was rejuvenating his cell phone.
Actually, I find that quite resourceful. If all I could afford were a cell phone, a gym membership for showers, a mail box, and a few essentials, it might make surviving in the summer a bit easier.
Driving down the road I saw an ambulance with its lights and siren on seeming to emerge from a cemetery.
