Pain is information.
Often, the information we receive can and does save our lives.
Pain is not egotistical. When it speaks, it is not talking about itself. It is telling us about ourselves, where our bodies are working properly and where things are a bit out of rhythm.
That is also true of emotional pain.
We get needed information if we are not too quick to mute that information by treating it too quickly on one end of the spectrum or stoically ignoring it on the other.
Pain is information. It has not life of its own, but dutifully serves as a point of contact between our consciousness and the state of our well being.
