“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in him.
They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.”
– Jeremiah 17:7-8
The person, whose hope is in the Lord, yields fruit and does not stop yielding fruit.
In earnest prayer, it is the spirit of submission to God that produces a heart that is a fruitful field in which He can work.
This is also a deep experience: yielding to God that our lives may yield fruit.
It is about surrender and victory, submission and freedom, bowing low and being lifted up.
As you pray, express your willingness to be a fruitful life through whom God can work.
Allow Him to so fill you with His spirit that your life will overflow with His graces.
