“For the Lord thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills … “ -  Deuteronomy 8:7

Wherever God plants you is a good land. It may not be the place you would have chosen, but it is good. It is very good. You are there and He is leading you deeper into that land of fulfillment and promise.

It is a good land.

It is good because God designed it and made it. He has supplied it with all that is needed for your well-being and for your enjoyment.

It is good because God designed it for you and you for it. Place and placement have purpose.

It is good because it has a unique beauty unlike any other place.

It is good because God is present there.

It is good because it is a place of refreshment.

Does it not seem so good to you sometimes? Are you often parched, thirsty, and weary? Does the heat of the sun beat down upon you and sap your strength. Are your eyes blinded to the beauty because of the magnitude of your cares?

Perhaps you have one foot in a desert. Perhaps you are yet to awaken to the place where God has been and is bringing you.

There is refreshment for your soul.

There is beauty for your eyes.

There is rest for your body.

There is hope for your spirit.

There is life for your bones.

There is purpose for your days.

May God awaken you to this good land and enliven you to all of its possibilities this day.

In the meantime, you will walk by faith, knowing that He will do so for you and so much more in His time.
