I have no idea how prayer works.

 have no notion that every prayer evokes what I want.

I have lived long enough to know that it makes a difference.

And though I am not all that bright, I know better than to refuse any prayer for myself of my ministry.

I know enough to solicit as many as I can get.

And I know enough to leave the results to God.
