Wall of the world
"If this Book means anything it means that at the wall of the world stands God, and any man driven there by conviction of sin finds the arms of God outstretched to save him." –Oswald Chambers, in He Shall Glorify Me from the Quotable Oswald Chambers

When we are up against the wall, when we are backed into a corner, when we are bereft of options, when we are standing alone, there is God.

God stands.

When we are confused, forsaken, forgotten, and forlorn, God stands.

When we face failure and drink from it's sacramental cup of defeat and pain, God's hands are outstretched.

Sacrament of failure

When we know we blew it and when we suspect we will not recover, we look, and there is God waiting with outstretched love.

God is standing beside us.

God is standing before us.

God has out backs.

God is over us.

God is the foundation beneath our feet.

God is there at the wall of the world.

God.
