It turns out that Anna Jarvis did not work for Hallmark and did not approve of the mass commercialization of the holiday. She  just wanted us to honor our own mothers and the mothers in our lives. So, to Jane Scates Sims Tanner​, Andrea Sims​, and Jan Sims Fletcher​, and all of you moms (in spite of Anna’s intentions), HAPPY MOTHER’s DAY! I appreciate and love you. Please put the apostrophe where Anna wanted it. Mother’s Day and not Mothers’ Day! :)
