Ceasefire Is not Peace,

but it is an opportunity for peacemaking.

I challenge three groups to invest in the rebuilding of Gaza, respecting the autonomy of the people. That means well-place financial investments.

• The United States. If we wish to be peace brokers, we need to put our money where our mouths are.
• The government of Israel. It is a prosperous country made up of good-hearted people. To invest in the wellbeing of the Palestinian people is to invest in the security of Israel. I know that there are those who already do this in Israel, but now is the time to do more.
• The countless corporations that invest in Israel and do business with Israel.

This is a time of opportunity for all. It can be seized, or it can be wasted.

Many have suffered in both camps. It will soon be time for rebuilding. Compassion, justice, and initiative will determine much for the future,

Will this be enough?

No.

Will it be a start?
