We are all experiencing glitches these days. I did Sunday when my screen sharing was not working on Zoom or Facebook Live. So, I switches to what worked. It was a good thing I had something to say because talking to the camera was all I could do.
If all my glitches turned to switches
And all my botches turned to bricks
I'd build my castles without hassles
And soon be back to my old tricks.
My point is, if I have one, that we always need a backup plan.
The key to the plan is content.
If Marshall McCluhan was entirely right and the medium is the message (sometimes pronounce similarly to "massage"), then the content is irrelevant. But if John is correct, as I affirm it to be so, "In the beginning was the Logos."
The Word becomes flesh and not the other way around.
So, if we have content, it can be delivered through any of many media.
It happened Sunday and the result is – Part 1 is my talking face and Part 2 is the presentation of scripture and music I prepared. YouTube is making sure the artists get their royalties and I am trying to make sure you get the content, namely this:
Beware of the impostor and be aware of the Good Shepherd.
AND — remember, it is all about the content.
We need to travel light and be ready to operate without props.
The Good Shepherd will guide us.
